Buckland Station, version of 1998

Buckland Station was found in the Autumn of 1997 in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, as a .17 point system of a FidoNet node 2:5030/441, which was lead by Paul Parfentiev, also known as Thorin Oakenshield. At the end of 1997 on the base of the station was began to work the Bulleting Board System, named as Buckland BBS, which is successfully works until the current days.

It was the lifefull and interested days - station grows up, received the point and node addresses in small FTN networks such as ElvenNetwork or DuneNet, points are appeared (and sometimes disappeared again)... Finally, in 1999 Buckland Station received a node status of FidoNet, and began to work from the address 2:5030/1171.

At the current date, Buckland Station has a wide range of points from a different cities of Russia, and works up to 15hrs per day. Welcome aboard!
